From a biochemical point of view all humans are alkaline. For example, babies grow in the womb with a pH of 8 to 8.5. The skin of a healthy baby is also alkaline (pH 7.5-8). Being the source of all life, the sea also has a pH of 8 to 8.5. The same applies to drinking water, because this usually has a pH of 7 to 7.5.
A healthy life needs alkalis
If there is an unbalance of acids and alkalis in our organism, we call that „hyperacidity“. A chronic „hyperacidity“ can have effects on our body health, such as skin irritations, rashes, and itchiness – all of those reducing the quality of life.
Cellulitis and a premature formatoin of wrinkles can be the effects of a chronic hyperacidity on the outer appearance.
